According to a report from Computer World, Apple might be planning for a bezel-free design for iPhone 8 next year. 2017 will mark the tenth anniversary of the iPhone. The first iPhone was introduced in 2007 by Steve Jobs. A lot of fans are expecting that Apple will have huge improvements for its tenth edition device.
There are rumors also claiming that the iPhone 8 will have an OLED display technology, which will make the device screen sharper, brighter and more efficient in energy. Apple's normal suppliers, Samsung and LG, will reportedly be joined by Foxconn's Sharp by 2018. Meanwhile, the smaller 5-inch variant will have the standard LCD Display.
According to a report from TechInsider, Barclay's analysts Blayne Curtis and Christopher Hemmelgarn predicted that the iPhone 8 will have a larger screen sizes and curved edges in the original envelope. The IP8 moves to 5-inch from 4.7-inch and the Plus moves to 5.8-inch from 5.5-inch.
Reports say the iPhone 8 screen might also get the same size as the previous model but the screens get bigger with lesser space around the screen. The analysts believe that Apple is looking for a way to increase the screen sizes with zero bezel so that they will still fit in the same size.
