"Dishonored 2" development team is having a nightmare. The game was a highly-anticipated sequel to its original 2012 release. It received a massive release in November 2016 on all popular platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox One and Windows.
However, PC gamers are on a rampage due to numerous issues they are facing and the worst part is that the developers are clueless as to what has gone wrong. PC gamers are furious as they are facing a lag because of "Dishonored 2" game's frame rate.
"Dishonored 2" developer, Arkane Studios, definitely did not anticipate what would go wrong. Hence, they are clueless about how to resolve the issues. Even PCs with higher configuration than that suggested by Arkane are facing problems playing the game.
As per Polygon, Harvey Smith, "Dishonored 2" co-creative director, confirmed the problem via Twitter but seemed totally unaware of the real problems being faced by the gamers. Some of the gamers believe that the problem is due to the TXAA anti-aliasing technology. No time frame for releasing a patch has been given.
This means PC gamers will have to suffer for the time being until a patch is released. The game seems to be working fine on Xbox One and PlayStation consoles. Kotaku Australia has provided certain tips for playing "Dishonored 2." Players should choose Emily over Corvo if they want to learn about her character as an adult and try out new tricks.
A player will be locked for the rest of the game one he choose Corvo or Emily at the start of the game as there is no way to switch between the two characters. Players should save the game at the very start of the mission if they want to replay it. "Dishonored 2" does not allow replays once a mission is completed. Quick saves allow players to get out of tricky situations and hence players should save often.
