Avid "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" gamers will soon enjoy new in-game content with the upcoming "Road To Boruto" DLC. Latest gaming news teased of the DLC's new story mode and other interesting gameplay details.
"Road to Boruto," the upcoming DLC for the fighting video game "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will provide gamers the chance to embark on a new journey with its "epic story mode," according to Bandai Namco's announcement, as obtained by Gematsu. With the game's upcoming physical release in the West and other regions, players can get to enjoy "lightning" quick fights against beloved "Naruto Shippuden" characters.
The new "Road to Boruto" expansion pack will feature the story of Boruto's adventures as depicted in the hit anime film "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." Gamers can also expect to enjoy a new story mode, as well as several new playable characters such as Mitsuki, Momoshiki Otsutsuki and Kinshiki Otsutsuki.
With the game's Free Battle Mode, gamers can opt to control the new playable characters in the said gaming feature's online and offline modes. Players can also look forward to Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha's new fighting styles in the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC. Game developer CyberConnect2 has even added new costumes for the each of the two characters.
Meanwhile, the upcoming "Road to Boruto" expansion pack has recently been given its rating by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). In its review, the ESRB warned players of gaming elements that contains "Blood, Language, Suggestive Themes, Violence," as indicated on a rating's report posted on the ESRB's website. Gamers can expect to see scenes that feature blood splatters, sword impalements, scantily-clad women and provocative movements.
The upcoming "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC "Road to Boruto" will be released in Japan on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 for the North America and European markets. Watch the game's trailer below:
