Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XV" is locked and loaded and ready to be unleashed into the world on Nov. 29. So many surprises and twists continue to flood the internet mere days before its official launch, and fans couldn't simmer down their excitement for the upcoming installment of the "Final Fantasy" franchise.
The two demos released to hype up the "Final Fantasy XV" game are no help to quell fans' enthusiasm. However, American talk show host and comedian Conan O'Brien, who tried out the game with "Lord of the Rings" star Elijah Wood, seems to have found the game to be a complete waste of time. How so?
What went down
Apparently, Conan O'Brien and Elijah Wood had played the "Final Fantasy XV" campaign and were stumped by the slow pace of storytelling, reported Uproxx. They were immediately greeted by an extended segment through the desert and were terribly confused by the convoluted storylines and cheesy dialogue.
However, one new piece of information revealed that it takes three real-world days to complete a boss fight in "Final Fantasy XV." That is, of course, an unacceptable amount of time to spend completing one aspect of the game. Either the two of them were just really terrible at playing the game, or Square Enix had really stretched out their material for "Final Fantasy XV."
What to expect from 'Final Fantasy XV'
Regardless of the terrible impressions "Final Fantasy XV" has made on these two beginner gamers, there's no stopping the game from launching or fans from getting the long-awaited installment to the franchise. For one, "Final Fantasy XV" will be featuring Ascension, as well as improved character customization and upgrade trees for different skills, according to Segment Next.
Unfortunately, it may still take a while, if at all, for the game to arrive in the PC. It's expected to launch both XBox One and PS4 versions. "Final Fantasy XV" will launch on Nov. 29.
