"Battlefield 1" fans will have to hit pause for a moment in leiu of the EA game going offline today for the Fall Update. Fans of the October-released first-person shooter video game from EA DICE should know that the servers are going offline today so that they can roll out the Fall Update, which promises to bring some awesome content as well.
The "Battlefield 1" Fall Update will require the multiplayer servers to go offline today for just an hour. According to PC Gamer, those playing on PC won't be able to access the multiplayer for an hour beginning 8 UTC / 12 a.m. PT. For those on PlayStation 4, the multiplayer won't be available at 10 UTC / 2 a.m. PT. Finally, Xbox One players will find that the multiplayer will be offline beginning 12 UTC / 4 a.m.
Gamespot is reporting that EA DICE hasn't released the patch notes for the "Battefield 1" Fall Update yet. However, the studio promises to publish it in the "Battlefield" forums once the rollout is done.
In other "Battlefield 1" news, the creators of the highly acclaimed, positively-reviewed game have taken to Twitter to share some amazing news. Aside from the fact that the EA game going offline today for the Fall Update, there's something else to look forward to.
According to a Twitter post, the Battlefest for "Battlefield 1" will take tomorrow, November 16. Fans are highly encouraged to visit twitch.tv/battlefield to check out the details of the global event. Fans from Los Angeles are encouraged to tune in at 1 p.m., while New Yorkers must tune in at 4 p.m. For those in London, tune in at 9 p.m., and for Stockholm, tune in at 10 p.m. As for fans in Sydney, Tune in on November 17 at 8 a.m., and for Tokyo, 6 a.m. on the same day.
