Make It So: Video Game Items We Wish Were Real

Being a gamer for years on end could potentially bend one's perception on reality. Ever felt like a certain video game item would just make a bad situation ever? Maybe life would be a little better with items from this list.

Phoenix Down - Final Fantasy

How precious would life be if these were around. Phoenix Downs, which allow you to come back from the dead, have been a staple of Final Fantasy since its inception in 1987. The medical industry would be turning on its head if this excised.  If these ever existed during a Zombie apocalypse, these would really come in handy seeing that it just destroys the dead.

Super Mushrooms - Super Mario Brothers

Super Mario Brother's most iconic item is the Super Mushroom. Their existence could rival plastic surgery in its usefulness to help people who just feel insecure about not being tall enough or able to shoot fireballs from thier hands. Sure there are mushrooms that can make one feel tall (in a hallucinating kind of way), but those are illegal and potentially life threatening.

Item Box - Resident Evil

A cluttered room could benefit from Resident Evil's magic item box. This box knows how to take punishment and has some sort of unexplained link to other magic item boxes as well. That means if two boxes are in two different areas, whatever item is put in one appears in the other. Not to mention that it never runs out of space. The rental storage industry would cease to exist.

Wind Waker - Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

Wish the rain would stop so you could enjoy some sun? Playing a game of golf and in need of the wind to rush in a different direction? What about teleporting to another area? With the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker's legendary baton, it's weather control in a cute small package. Doubt it would work without some music classes though. Or eating some mushrooms.

Sam Fisher's Goggles - Splinter Cell

Splinter Cell's Third Echelon produced goggles put Google Glass to shame. These goggles, which operate with simple head bobs from Fisher, can do it all. It features night, thermal, electromagnetic field and electronically enhanced vision. More abilities to the famed googles are added with each installment like hacking and the ability to call in an airstrike. Those late night hunting trips just got a lot more interesting.
