After persistent rumors of a remodeled iPhone 8 and iMac coming out next year, it seems as though the first line of Apple products getting an overhaul will be the iPad Pro 2017. Rumors are saying that Apple fans are getting it sooner than expected, with the new iPad Pro coming out in the second quarter of next year.
According to Mac Rumors, Apple is readying three new iPad Pro models for release next year—by March 2017, to be specific. The new iPad Pro will come in 9.7-inch, 10.9-inch, and 12.9-inch models, with the 10.9-inch model eliminating bezels from the iPad's front. This bezel-less design, if true, will follow the rumored specifications of the iPhone 8, which is said to have an edge-to-edge OLED display and no Home button. It's in line with the rumors that have been coming out about next year's iPad model.
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2017 is still going to be a budget model, but there's no word if the 12.9-inch model will see its bezels removed. The rumors also state that the iPad Mini 4, from all the way back in 2015, will still be sold alongside the new iPad Pro, for the more casual market.
Other rumors surrounding the iPad Pro 2017 include a True Tone display for the 12.9-inch model, like the current 9.7-inch model, which will automatically adjust the display based on ambient light. The new iPads will also get quad mics, according to Mac Otakara, and in a surprising move to keep the 3.5mm headphone jacks. This would be a good move, considering the mixed reaction of the headphone jack's removal in the iPhone 7.
There are also rumors surrounding the 2018 iPads, including finally applying OLED displays for their screens. Keep it locked here at GamenGuide for more news and updates about the iPad Pro 2017.
