BlackBerry DTEK50, DTEK60 News & Update: Tech-Giant Back With Its World’s Most Secure Android Smartphone! Iconic Physical Keyboard Will Be Available Soon?

BlackBerry is not yet done with smartphone business after it officially launched last week its newest smartphone that runs on Android, the BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60 variants. The iconic keyboard will also be seen with other BlackBerry phones, but there are no complete details about it yet.

Blackberry has officially released its DTEK series which runs in Android OS, the BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60. These smartphones are first released and currently available in India, pricing DTEK50 for Rs. 21,990 or $325.87 and DTEK60 priced at Rs. 46,990 or $696.34.

The specs of BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60 are quite impressive considering that the devices are competing with other available Android smartphones. But, touting as the "World's Most Secure Android Smartphone," BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60 brags about securing your personal information that no other Android Smartphone does.

According to BlackBerry's website, BlackBerry sets the bar in providing best incident response and Patch management to its phone users. The security architecture, security patch track record and dedicated security research and response team are the things that other Android smartphone companies can't provide. BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60 are both designed to secure users from possible attackers compromising their privacy.

BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60 have FIPS 140-2 compliant full disk encryption, which is turned on by default that will protect the privacy of the owner even the device is lost or stolen. Also, both DTEK series have Address Space Layout Randomization that scrambles application and the system memory, which prevents attackers from targeting owner's device.

Additionally, BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60 are integrated with BES®12 and Good Secure EMM Suites, which are also used by most powerful governments and corporations. BlackBerry also brags its proven track record in delivering quick security patches, making their phone less vulnerable from hackers.

Meanwhile, aside from BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60, there are some reports that BlackBerry plans to release another smartphone with a physical keyboard. Internally, the smartphone has Codename Mercury and is rumored to run in Android 7.0 Nougat. Mercury is rumored to sport 4.5-inch Full HD display, 2 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm processor and 3GB of RAM.

The phone will have a 32GB of storage, but no other information if it will release other variants. It is also rumored to have 18 MP rear camera and 8MP for the front camera. The battery is quite impressive with 3,400 mAh, but not as much with other Android smartphones. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more BlackBerry DTEK50 and BlackBerry DTEK60 news and updates!
