"Halo" was first launched in 2001 and the first ever game it launched was "Halo: Combat Evolved". On Nov. 15, 2016, the "Halo" franchise will celebrate its 15th anniversary. The first game created, "Halo: Combat Evolved" came out in 2001.
A live stream event will be held by the developer 343 Industries and a Twitch live stream at around 3:43 PM PT will be broadcasted, according to Gamestop.
In a blog post, 343 said that a special walkthrough of the "Halo" Museum will happen "during the jam-packed show". "Halo" creators Dan Ayoub & Max Szlagor will also grace the event and talk about "Halo 2."
Participants of the event will be given a chance to hear about some stories and bloopers of the team and the community of "Halo". Guests can even play "Halo 5" with other gamers during the 343 event.
The blog post also mentioned upcoming updates for "Halo 5", which is reported to include live custom games on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, more maps and new Forge canvasses. "Plans are being made for some big holiday playlist updates as well as the release of the next big Halo 5 content update," 343 said.
The latest DLC For "Halo" include free content such as "September's Anvil Legacy. The expansions of the game include "The Battle of Shadow and Light" (November), "Cartographer's Gift" (December), "Infinity's Armor" (January), "Hammer Storm" (February), "Ghosts of Meridian" (April), "Memories of Reach" (May), "Hog Wild" (May) and "Warzone Firefight" (June).
Halo has come a long way since the game series' first release in 2011. Since then it has become one of the best first-person shooter games for video consoles, especially the Xbox. The "Halo" franchise generated over $3 billion in revenue, with over 65 million copies sold worldwide.
