A lot of gamers are already excited and curious about Nintendo Switch and what it has to offer. Previous reports revealed that Nintendo Switch might be equipped with original Nintendo games like "Super Mario" but it was only until recently that Nintendo confirmed such news.
Nintendo Switch Latest News & Update
The confirmation that "Super Mario" games will be released with Nintendo Switch was not necessarily from Nintendo but from an equally reliable source - Charles Martinet, the voice actor for Mario and Luigi. The eagle-eyed fans who are highly-anticipating Nintendo Switch got some very vital clues from Charles Martinet's IMDb page.
Reports say that Charles Martinet's IMDb page listed two new "Super Mario" games in his profile - "Super Mario Galaxy 3" and "Super Mario Sunshine HD." However, as of writing, it appears that Charles Martinet has edited the listings and the only upcoming game in his profile is "Mario Sports Superstars," which is coming in 2017.
Nintendo Switch Replaces Wii U?
There are loyal Wii U players getting worried that their favorite games in Wii U might remain stagnant as Nintendo shifts its attention to Nintendo Switch. Some players contest the possibility of Wii U getting phased out though, as there are reports saying that a new "Super Mario" golf fame is coming to Wii U in 2017.
Nintendo Switch Specs, Price, Release Date
As of writing, Nintendo Switch is geared to be released by March 2017. The price and specs have yet to be revealed, although there are already a lot of Nintendo Switch mock-ups available, giving the players a sneak peek on the possible look of Nintendo's newest family member.
