All focus right now is for WW Survivor Series which takes place on Nov. 20 at the Air Canada Centre. The highlight will, of course, be the five-man team battle from both brands, filled with big names and lots of controversies.
Team Raw will have an odd mix composed of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho and Universal champion Kevin Owens, a unit that may have issues operating as a unit. A consolation is that the team of Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt don’t look so hot as well though the fifth member, Shane McMahon, could manage the lot.
Storylines are expected to crop up and all eyes are on the four Raw members – Rollins, Reigns, Jericho, and Owens. Something is bound to give and supporting that is the fact that all four are already booked for matches at WWE Roadblock which happens in Dec. 18 at the PPG Paints Arena, Wrestlingnews.co reported.
Rollins takes on Jericho while Owens defends his title against Reigns. Interesting here is whether the ‘best friends’ do something to help the other where something could go awfully wrong. If so, the split could finally happen and set the stage for a Universal title match next.
This also hints at the slow pull-out of Rollins from the Universal title scene and is expected to finally sprout the seeds of a much-awaited storyline against mentor Triple H. Reigns, still not at peace with the WWE fans, will likely fill-in for now though a title change is unlikely to happen – at least not yet.
The full story behind the cards is likely to take shape at Survivor Series so keep a close eye on the things going on inside and outside the ring, Forbes reported. Something will likely explode and such holds true for all protagonists participating in the main event over at Toronto.
