Netflix's sleeper hit "Stranger Things" is currently up for Season 2, and fans couldn't stop themselves from looking up just what exactly is in store for the '80s paranormal television series. One question, however, continues to prey on every viewer's mind following its season finale: is Will Byers infected by the Demagorgon in "Stranger Things" Season 2?
Abnormal is the new normal
In a report from Collider, director Shawn Levy said the cast and crew of "Stranger Things" Season 2 are going to be extra vigilant from now on regarding spoilers and leaks about the show. This after the big bombshell regarding the return of Millie Bobby Brown, who plays fan-favorite Eleven in the series.
However, Shawn Levy did hint that while there were going to be new characters in "Stranger Things" Season 2, the new season will still be very much about the original gang and how their cope with the aftermath of the Demagorgon's attack. He further went on to say "normal" will never be possible in Hawkins, Indiana, particularly for the Byers.
Is Will Byers the new host for the Demagorgon?
Speaking of the Byers, fans would recall that the family went through a rough patch after Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) was snatched into the realm of the Upside Down. His mother, Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Chief Hopper (David Harbour) had saved him. But near the end of the season finale, Will Byers was seen coughing up slugs. What should fans expect in "Stranger Things" Season 2?

His extended stay there could also mean that he's now host to Pollywogs (not to be confused with Pokemon Poliwags), which are Demagorgons in larval stage.
