'That's So Raven' 2016: Raven-Symone Will Be Back As Raven Baxter, Orlando Brown Wants To Reprise His Eddie Thomas Character As Well
"That's So Raven" will not be a hit without the successful comedic timing and chemistry of all the cast. While Disney has yet to confirm who will be back for the "That's So Raven" spinoff, the company may be forced to cut one of the original cast out.
Orlando Brown was arrested early this year after allegedly striking his girlfriend. This domestic situation may have potentially caused Orlando Brown to be replaced as Eddie in "That's So Raven" spinoff.
Speaking to TMZ, Orlando Brown (Eddie Thomas) says there can’t be a spin-off without him. The 28-year-old actor noted that the success of "That's So Raven" was a result of the chemistry of the original cast. So for him to not get a phone call yet obviously bothered the troubled star.
'That's So Raven' 2016: Will Original Cast Join 'The View' Host Raven-Symone?
Raven-Symone (Raven Baxter) and Orlando Brown have had their share of beef, which may be the reason why the latter hasn't received any phone calls yet. Orlando Brown made headlines this year when he suggested that he had a romantic relationship with Raven-Symone and claimed that "The View" host got pregnant and aborted the baby.
"That's So Raven" is popularly known as a family sitcom, so having Orlando Brown may lose the authenticity of the show and may lose viewers along the process. The original cast of "That's So Raven" includes Rondell Sheridan, T'Keyah Crystal Keymah, Kyle Massey, David Henrie, and more.
