"Hellboy 3" seems to be one idea that many have not ruled out to this day, including the actor. However, the man who plays the red devil himself may be shattering the supposed hopes of a third installment when he admitted where the game stands now.
As some may know, Dark Horse Comics' cinematic rendition of their popular graphic novel apparently became a hit in Hollywood to many if not all. As the following became stronger, the need for a sequel was then granted to the fans. With that, director Guillermo Del Toro putting his ideas to work but that could be all there is to it and no longer the existence of "Hellboy 3."
During a conversation with Screen Rant, Ron Perlman first did his best to garner a liking for the idea of the third installment, taking things to Twitter as well. Being honest, the sci-fi veteran said that he and the director once talked about the idea, though nothing has come to fruition. Everything started to de-escalate quickly as Perlman then confessed not long after that "Hellboy 3" is something that may or may not happen, but not to speak too soon just yet.
It was not until last September that Perlman seemed to succumb to the idea that "Hellboy 3" is nearly impossible, tweeting that he, for one, is working on "Hellboy 3" even if no one else will. Recent reports also justified with the facts that Perlman was said to have been busy before with a handful of other projects as well, namely "Sons of Anarchy," "Adventure Time," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Trollhunters."
So far, "Hellboy 3" has been put to sleep indefinitely, and despite what the actor or the rest of the team may say, things should be put on hold for the time being if not completely gone. Stay posted for more news and updates here at GamenGuide.
