This comes after many skilled fans have accessed the details and information of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" and mined certain data from there. The revelation had been discovered in text file 70, which is where Pokemon originated according to Pokemongohub.
The Pokemon history file then reveals sources to a lot more regions where Pokemon can be obtained by the players in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." This would then include the Pokemon Link and the Poke Pelagio.

This news may not come as a shock though for those who have been following the latest news on "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Game producer Junichi Masuda and director Shigeru Ohmori had hinted this feature before.
Masuda and Ohmori had considered linking "Pokemon Go" and "Pokemon Sun and Moon" way back in July. However, with the different appearance methods, catch rates, and overall gameplay mechanics in the two games, they still need to find a way to balance the feature.
