The Los Angeles Convention Center will most likely host the much-awaited PlayStation 4 unveiling event during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the industry showcase event scheduled to run from June 11 - 13. Sony is heavily rumored to launch its next-generation gaming console at the event. The console maker had previously revealed a couple of PS4 specifications at an event in February followed by the revelation of the 'mock-up' designs of the console's controller and eye at the recently concluded Games Developers Conference (GDC) 2013 in San Francisco.
While the video gaming world is busy pondering the specifications, pricing and other features of the upcoming console, here is a roundup of all the confirmed and rumored games heading to the PlayStation 4 console.
Confirmed PS4 Games:
- Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag:Ubisoft's latest title Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has been announced for the next-gen consoles and has been confirmed for PlayStation 4. Assassin's Creed 4 is also powered by the Anvil Next engine, which is behind Watch Dogs. The game's Creative Director Jean Guesdon and Associate Producer Sylvain Trottier were featured in the latest instalment in Sony's "Conversations with Creators" series where the developers discussed the game's creation for PS4. They said the PS4 enables the creators to deliver more graphical detail, a new and advanced form of social connection and a seamless gaming experience like never before.
- Watch Dogs: Another major Ubisoft title, Watch Dogs will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U on November 22. The publisher has announced that the game will be available at the launch of PlayStation 4. Watch Dogs is an open-world urban survival game with a measure of tactical stealth action thrown into the mix, IGN reports.
- Wolfenstein: The New Order: Bethesda's recently announced Wolfenstein game will arrive in 2014 for PS4 and Xbox Infinity, as well as the current consoles. Wolfenstein: The New Order from Machine Games will not have a multiplayer component. The strictly single-player game is set in 1960, after the Nazis have already taken over the world. "Gamers play as the familiar American war hero B.J. Blazkowicz and are tasked with launching an impossible counter-offensive against the Nazi powers that have taken over the world," Gamespot reports. Set in Europe, players will have to infiltrate Nazi strongholds to fight legions of enemies. The players are charged with the task of taking control of the super weapons from the Nazi possession.

- Battlefield 4: Electronic Arts, the company responsible for publishing Battlefield 4, is expected to launch the game in the North American region sometime later this fall. The game is apparently set in the modern setting. Battlefield 4 is expected to be released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox Infinity and PC.
The Evil Within: A new survival horror game by Shinji Mikami, The Evil Within is slated to come out for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, the Xbox 360, PC and is most likely to be available for the next-gen Xbox console as well.
Call Of Duty: Ghosts: Activision's Call Of Duty: Ghosts is rumored to arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox Infinity. The game is being developed by Infinity Ward with some help from Neversoft and Raven Software. The publisher is likely to release the game for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox Infinity later this year.

Indie Games Coming to PS4 (Confirmed)
- Hohokum: Hohokum, developed by Sony Santa Monica Studio and Honeyslug along with artist Richard Hogg, will be released on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita in 2014. Players are charged with the task of taking control of a multi-colored snake-like creature that can fly around to explore the game's world.
- Doki-Doki Universe: The game is developed by HumaNature Studios, founded by Toejam and Earl creator Greg Johnson. According to the developers, Doki-Doki Universe is a set of related products that they plan to release at the same time. "Players' first exposure to Doki-Doki will be in the form of a free download for their PS Vita, PS3 or PS4. This is a light version of the game where players can fly around a Universe and take fun personality quizzes," Greg Johnson wrote on the PlayStation Blog. "Doki-Doki is a lot more than just a game. It's a huge simulated "living" Universe of intriguing content, filled with interactive stories and self-discovery. From within Doki-Doki players can use Doki-Doki Mail that 'magically' animates anything you type, and lets you communicate in playfully expressive ways with friends who also have the game or the mobile app," Johnson describes.
