Raven Software and Activision has collaborated in order to deliver a small "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" patch on the Xbox One console. Weighing at only 45MB, the new patch is exclusive to Xbox One users. In a twitter announcement by Lead Designer for Raven Software, Amos Hodge he said the update enables "joining on friends from the social menu." Aside from that, the tweet also confirmed that the small patch also include fix for an edge case crash.
Take note that, Activision has also made it clear that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered can only be acquired when you buy "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." The latter on the other hand will have three editions mainly The Legacy, The Legacy Pro and the Digital DeLuxe edition.
The Legacy edition is currently priced at $79.99 while The Legacy Pro is at $99.99. The DeLuxe Edition on the other hand is priced at $119.99. Unfortunately for players who buy the three editions, progression will not be credited on the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered.
According to the Polygon, Activation plans of providing a dedicated servers for Modern Warfare online multiplayer. Despite the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered game being a standalone game, it cannot be purchased as a single game.
With players possibly having two "Call of Duty" games on their harddrives, it's very important to take note of future patches that will eat up some of the space in your hard drive. "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered released on PS4 on the 5th of October 2016 while the rest had it on November 4, 2016.
