Adult Swim's "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is expected to arrive before the year ends, much to the delight of its avid fanbase. The new season is expected to pick up after Rick Sanchez is imprisoned in the Galactic Federation Prison and how he will break out. But what else can fans expect from the misanthropic mad genius scientist as he embarks on a new adventure?
What to expect from 'Rick and Morty' Season 3
It's safe to say that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 would not be spending so much time depicting Rick Sanchez in prison. Showrunners Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon had previously confirmed this, saying they didn't want to spend the majority of prison having Rick Sanchez break out of prison. Fans, therefore, can expect him to be out of the Galactic Federation Prison by the first two episodes, at the most.
Spoilers also revealed that Krombopoulos Michael may have a lot to do with Rick's escape from prison in "Rick and Morty" Season 3. Fans would remember that Michael was last seen crushed under Rick's spaceship, Inverse reported. It's also speculated that he will be joining a militant group of aliens in the prison guard where Rick is currently held, leading fans to believe that the beloved character will be helping him escape.
When to expect 'Rick and Morty' Season 3
It's also been reported that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has already wrapped up weeks ago. This was confirmed by a series of tweets from series creator Dan Guterman. He'd also hinted that the first episode of the third installment of the series was also finished, as writer Erica Rosbe has already seen it.
Excited for the Adult Swim series' return? "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is also expected to have 14 episodes, and might run by December. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Rick and Morty" Season 3 spoilers, news and updates!
