‘Xbox One Backwards Compatibility’ Update: You Might Have Missed These Titles in Your Quest to See What’s Up for Black Friday

Black Friday is fast approaching, but before you set your minds on the special date, you might want to know that latest titles that arrived on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. They may not be the titles you've been waiting for, but "Guardian Heroes" and "Operation Flashpoint: Red River" are now part of the backwards compatible feature.

Looking ahead through Black Friday and Thanksgiving, expect more sweet deals from Microsoft and its rival PS4. Plus, the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature will celebrate its first year anniversary this November. Despite the lack of some big announcements, Microsoft said, their plan on celebrating the feature. That means, get update because you might never know what will they release next.

Unfortunately, fans can't still get a hold of the elusive "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" title. Despite the game being spotted on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, it didn't take long before Microsoft took it off. The company has since addressed the issue saying, it was a mistake that "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" made it to the list.


We haven't reach the bottom of the first half of the month, so expect more Xbox One backwards compatibility titles to arrive this week and the most anticipated Black Friday and Thanksgiving specials. Take note that, if you have the "Guardian Heroes" and "Operation Flashpoint: Red River" on your Xbox 360 console, there's no need for you to purchase the game on the Xbox One console. The backwards compatibility feature automatically converts the title to the current gen console.
