Despite the game being spotted on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, it didn't take long before Microsoft took it off. The company has since addressed the issue saying, it was a mistake that "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" made it to the list.

Take note that, if you have the "Guardian Heroes" and "Operation Flashpoint: Red River" on your Xbox 360 console, there's no need for you to purchase the game on the Xbox One console. The backwards compatibility feature automatically converts the title to the current gen console.
