Sure enough, we've all wanted to be a hero at least one point in our lives. I dare say there's hardly one amongst you who hasn't put worn underwear on the outside and jammed knives between their fingers so you could pretended you were Wolverine. Not that I'm throwing stones, I'm just as guilty as the rest of you. Myself and three of my childhood buddies use to fashion together Ninja Turtle armaments using legos. It was hard times back then, slim pickings in the kindergarten class made sure so no one ever wanted to be Michaelangelo, and whoever wound up as Donatello would lose their bo-staff down the back of their shirt.
Being so young, we didn't have the technological savvy to make a proper set of ninjitsu weapons. Hackaday's Caleb Kraft on the other hand has more than enough, but he wouldn't be satisfied by a simple pair of katana. Instead, he took things a step further, opting to make his very own Mjölnir, hammer of the Norse God Thor.
Kraft documented the entire process over at Hackaday, helping you get far more appreciative of his results. The hammer is capable of putting out 80,000 volts, but as can be seen in the video, is perfectly safe.
It's not as visually stunning as the lightning show Chris Hemsworth put on during his own adventures as the Norse god, but he could still use it to work the intimidation angle if he wanted run out and fight crime.
