It will be a double treat for gamers if the reports are true that "Darksiders 3" will be released soon after the launch of "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" on Nov 29. This means that fans will have another treat just in time for the Holiday Season.
According to the reports, "Darksiders 3" will have an enhanced version of the first installment where the remastered War will be highlighted. Does this mean the Watcher will also make a comeback in the third installment?
The Watcher appeared in the first series of "Darksiders" when it was asked by the Council to serve as a guide to War. Should game developer THQ Nordic decides to bring Watcher to "Darksiders 3," the storyline of the third installment need to be consistent with the first series.
Mark Hamill of "Star Wars" was the voice behind the Watcher in the first installment. Will it still be his voice for "Darksiders 3?"
Just like the other "Darksiders" series, "Darksiders 3" is expected to be an action role-playing hack and slash game. Originally, it was inspired by the story of "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" from the "Book of Revelation."
While War and Death were the horsemen in the first and second series of "Darksiders," respectively, it is expected that Strife will be the next horseman in "Darksiders 3." Fans expect that "Darksiders 3" gameplay will be both linear and non-linear using vast maps that players can explore.
The "Darksiders 3" will have objectives to reach, quests and side quests to conquer. In order to achieve the players' goals, they need to solve interactive puzzles like getting through doors, elevators, levers and portals. This will also help players cross certain areas.
