Niantic recently updated "Pokemon GO" with its latest 0.45.0 version for Android and 1.15.0 version for iOS. Several players are happy with the update because it brought new features such as the daily quests system. However, some of the players are disappointed because they noticed that Niantic might have disabled players from spinning Pokestops if they are currently at driving speeds in "Pokemon GO."
According to a report from Kotaku, the recent update in "Pokemon GO" put a speed limit in the game. This means that player who are riding a bus, trains, cars or even commuting cannot play "Pokemon GO" anymore because they cannot spin any Pokestops if they have reached the speed limit. Players will also find it hard to catch a Pokemon if they are over the speed limit because the Pokemon will eventually break free.
Some players also say that the catch rate while driving has been massively decreased. Players are disappointed because the speed capping is not included in the official Patch Notes of the update. According to Forbes, Niantic just made a reason why some players should stop playing "Pokemon GO" because players who has a routine involving a vehicle in "Pokemon GO" can stop playing without any new reasons to continue.
However, recent reports say that there has been Gen 2 Pokemon names found in the "Pokemon GO" metadata dump. Some of the Pokemons names spotted are HootHoot, Meganium, Quilava, Typhilosion, Totdile, Croconaw, Feraligatr, Sentret, Furret, Cyndaquil, Noctowl, Bayleef, Ledyba, Ledian, Spinarak, Ariados, Crobat and ChinChou.
Some rumors say that the "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 will be released this coming December. The holiday update next month is also expected to bring new features to "Pokemon GO" like the Trading System and PvP Battle System. Some of the legendary Pokemons like Mew, MewTwo, Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos might be included in the update. Stay tuned to Game&Guide to for more news and updates for "Pokemon GO."
