It's official, Warner Bros. has confirmed "Young Justice" Season 3 and revealed, its production has already started. The animated series came close to a third season three years ago, until things started to break loose and now, it's finally coming to life. The announcement was made on Monday wherein, producers Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman are returning to continue the season.
The first two seasons of "Young Justice" according to CBR aired on the Cartoon Network from 2011 to 2013. Of course at the time, the roster was larger and DC Comics included characters like Superboy, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Aqualad, Robin and Artemis. The group called "The Team" is the junior version of the "Justice League."
After "Young Justice" debuted on Netflix, Weisman has been consistent in encouraging fans to keep watching the series stream in order to promote and encourage a revival. Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series President Sam Register said, "The affection that fans have had for 'Young Justice,' and their rallying cry for more episodes, has always resonated with us."
Unfortunately, no other details were given except for the "Young Justice" to have started with the production. According to DCcomics, the series was able to attract at least 25 million unique viewers during its two seasons on air. It also won the praise of of many viewers because of its sophisticated portrayal of superheroes and the impressive storyline of the series.
Warner Bros. has since released a promotional art poster for "Young Justice" Season 3. Also, Warner has created a dedicated website for "Young Justice" Season 3, which is yjs3.com. Unfortunately, the said website is currently inaccessible.
