'Grimm' Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Online Petition To Continue Series In NBC, Netflix Bidding? Lt. Grossante Confirmed!

"Grimm" Season 7 rumors continue to emerge despite news that Season 6 concludes the series. There are also speculations regarding Netflix's bid for the tv series, including a likely spinoff.

The likely "Grimm" Season 7 is believed to happen in a different network, with Netflix being expected to take the series. This could mean that NBC will possibly say goodbye to the show. With fears of a possible cancellation, the long-time viewers of the show reportedly made an online petition, gathering at least 14,000 signatures, to persuade the NBC to continue the series. But based on reports, the network has already announced on Aug. 29 the cancellation of the show.

"Grimm" series follows the story of detective Nick Burkhardt, who suddenly begins to have weird visions of ordinary people turning into ugly beasts. As the story progresses, it will reveal that a curse or gift of sight for supernatural beings has been passed on to Nick.

The detective will eventually become a "Grimm" to maintain the balance between mythological creatures and the humans. Also, the Big Bad Wolf will become his partner and his profession as a cop will be confirmed as the reason for Nick's encounter with strange criminals.

"Grimm" Season 7 rumors, however, seem to be not over yet, as there has been no official announcement made to confirm the status of the show, whether of a spinoff or a Netflix bidding. Meantime, Season 6 is set to premiere on Jan. 6, according to report.

However, the sixth season is reported to feature 13 episodes only, contrary to the previous season that featured more than 22 episodes. The returning character of Lt. Grossante, who is played by Chris McKenna is confirmed to be included.

"Grimm" Season 7 remain uncertain, despite the recent online petition conducted by the series' fans, since this is believed to be not enough for the NBC to continue with the show, Health Aim reported. Watch video about "Grimm" Cancelled: Season 6 Will Be Its Last | Collider News
