Mac Book Pro, announced at an event in San Francisco last October 27. It's thinner and lighter than the previous creations: a 13-inch and 15-inch models are 14.9mm and 15.5 mm and weighed 1.37 kg and 1.83 kg respectively compared to last models' 18 mm thick and 1.58 kg and 2.04 kg.
Its key feature "Touch Bar" gains a unique and a standout feature among other laptops. It is a contextual toolbar at the top of the keyboard that automatically changes to surface app-specific commands. However, despite unique features it's said that Mac Book Pro lacks a major component for gaming. The reason is lower GPU.
According to Quora, a good GPU requires space, and a lot of cooling which means that such laptop would have to be bulkier, makes noise and waste more energy in a cooling system, in order to prevent overheating. Furthermore, most desktop GPUs have a power consumption of at least 500 Watts yet MacBook Pro has 35Watt GPU.
Bgr reports, that a 15-inch MacBook Pro's display has a much higher resolution which needs a more powerful graphics card to push all extra pixels. So to do any gaming on, an adjustment to lower the settings or resolution would be a good solution.
Amidst all, Apple executive Phil Schiller still emphasized in an interview that the new "MacBook Pro has had more orders than any other pro notebook before."
