Blizzard Entertainment's action role-playing video games, "Diablo 3," will be releasing a new update on the 20th anniversary of dungeon crawler Diablo. "Diablo 3" console players will also be able to participate in seasons, which is one of the most dramatic endgame features of the RPG.
As per VG 24/7, "Diablo 3" will get better with the addition of seasons on Xbox One and PS4. The Seasons system allows players to complete tasks on seasonal timers. Completing an entire season unlocks various rewards such as cosmetic items and pets and a six-piece class set.
Hardcore "Diablo 3" gamers may compete with other champions on various leaderboards and others may also find a good reason to keep playing "Diablo 3" because of the rewards. Xbox One and PS4 will be getting the Seasons feature in 2017.
The new "Diablo 3" update is expected to be a kind of celebration that will mark the re-entry of the original game within the current version. Fans are anticipating a big surprise and it could well be "Diablo 4." The anniversary is the perfect stage for the launch of "Diablo 4."
Rumor has it that the special anniversary update will come out early next week. Price and release information haven't be disclosed yet. In order to enjoy the special update, players need to have the "Diablo 3" base game and the "Reaper of Souls" expansion.
Moreover, fans are also eagerly awaiting the "Rise of the Necromancer" Pack, scheduled to arrive next year. The patch will include the new character class Necromancer. According to The Verge, the upcoming "Diablo 3" anniversary special update will have four bosses and 16-level dungeon from "Diablo."
Players will be bound by an 8-degree freedom movement. An old-school filter can be applied to enjoy the original "Diablo" atmosphere. The patch update is known as "Darkening of Tristram" and it gets graphics, style and gameplay inspiration from the original game. The free update will most-likely come out during the Public Test Realm. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Diablo 3" news and updates!
