The latest "Clash Royale" news revealed that there will be four new cards arriving in the next game update. A leak of the upcoming "Clash Royale" cards surfaced online, revealing new troops and spells.
ClashRoyaleArena reported that Opegit Studio, a Russian group on VK, leaked a gameplay video of the new "Clash Royale" cards, namely Elite Barbarians, Electro Wizard, Tornado and Clone Spells. Supercell is preparing to release the update soon, although the date remains unknown.
'Clash Royale' Gameplay & Features: Gameplay Video Leaked
Based on the leaked gameplay video, the Tornado in "Clash Royale" will pull all nearby troops to its center, dealing damage and preventing affected troops from attacking over time. Tornado lasts for 1.5 seconds and costs three elixir in "Clash Royale."
Mobipicker wrote that the Clone Spell in "Clash Royale" will copy two baby dragons, which deal about the same damage as the real version, but with zero HP. The dragon clones will not disappear over time unless killed.
Clone Spell cannot copy Lava Pups and Golemites in "Clash Royale". Clone Spell costs three elixir and can copy multiple troops within a three-tile radius. The best combo may be to mirror three musketeers, and then duplicate these to create a group of 12 to overwhelm opponents.
'Clash Royale' New Cards Update: Electro Wizard, Elite Barbarians, Tornado, Clone Spells
The new "Clash Royale" cards include the Electro Wizard, which has high movement speed but low HP. The Electro Wizard has 550 HP at level 1 and can deal 138 damage per second.
The unit can shock everything and stun them for about 0.5 seconds. The Electro Wizard can also hit up to two targets simultaneously. When spawned in "Clash Royale," the wizard will cast a level 8 Zap spell where he appears.
The Elite Barbarians in "Clash Royale" will spawn two Barbarians with very fast movement speed, and average damage and low HP. The Elite Barbarians only cost six Elixir, and are quite the same as Lumberjacks without Rage.
Overall, Supercell has yet to confirm whether all the leak details are true. The "Clash Royale" developer did not announce the official launch date yet, and may introduce adjustments before the next update arrives. More updates and details on "Clash Royale" are expected soon.
