After "Pokemon Go" garnered commercial success with approximately $23.3 million earnings, Nintendo is very optimistic that "Super Mario Run" will also follow the footsteps of the augmented-reality game. The company wants this upcoming game to be as popular as "Pokemon Go."
It is normal for a company to desire that its another product to become successful just like its previous product and/or compete its rivals. So after "Pokemon Go" has become a trend, the company is aiming that its mobile game version from the classic game "Super Mario," "Super Mario Run" will also become successful and bring in more revenue.
The upcoming mobile game "Super Mario Run" is expected to come out on iPhone 7. The game was announced during the launch of the aforementioned devices, which was held on Sep. 7.
"Super Mario Run" will appear as an auto-runner game. It may sound like "Temple Run" where players should maintain or continue running by avoiding the obstacles. So the question is, is this "Super Mario" version another clone of "Temple Run"?
In the video below, it shows the demo of the upcoming game. Apparently, it brings nostalgia to those who played the classic "Super Mario" games.
