News and updates about Bethesda's "The Elder Scrolls 6" have been thin to the ground, despite the latest successful launch of "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition" earlier this month. As such, video gamers around the world have been asking whether the game is still happening, especially since the studio seems a little cold on the prospect of "The Elder Scrolls 6."
But what can video gamers expect out of Skyrim's sixth installment, should it indeed launch? Here's everything to expect from "The Elder Scrolls 6" game: the latest news, new gameplay secrets, upgrades, price details, release dates and more.
When will 'The Elder Scrolls 6' launch?
So far, there hasn't been any official news or announcement from Bethesda, the studio that will create "The Elder Scrolls 6." It appears, however, that the company isn't too keen on starting on production yet, if indeed it hasn't begun creating the latest Skyrim installment yet.
In a report from DigitalSpy, studio marketing vice president Peter Hines said they haven't begun working on "The Elder Scrolls 6" just yet. He said the studio didn't want to rush working on the sequel just to crank out a sellable game, and that they have been putting quality effort and time into potential projects.
He did tease that the studio was working on two large projects that fans should definitely watch out for. However, he admitted that it might be after these said two projects that fans would even begin hearing about "The Elder Scrolls 6."
What to expect from 'The Elder Scrolls 6'
Still, that hasn't stop reports from speculating on what to expect from the upcoming "The Elder Scrolls 6." For one, it's suggested that the game might take place in Argonia, one of the three remaining places in Tamriel town that hasn't been featured in any Skyrim game yet. Furthermore, it's also expected to upgrade its graphics engine and introduce town- and house-building into the game.
