According to the official synopsis released by CW the company responsible for creation of Detective Comics (DC) television universe that includes shows such as The Flash and Arrow. Supergirl season 2 titled "The Darkest Place" reveals Cyborg Superman's television appearance but who could be behind all this?
Supergirl season 2 "The Darkest Place" will have Kara Danvers (played by Melissa Benoist) infiltrating Cadmus to rescue a captive Mon- El (Chris Wood) which leads into a confrontation with Cyborg Superman whose actor is yet to be revealed but various theories of his identity has surfaced such as Kara's father Jeremiah Danvers (played by Dean Cain) who was previously shown being held captive by Cadmus and placed under various experiments. However, this is strictly a speculation and has yet to be proven.
Another theory on Cyborg Superman's possible identity is that he could be Mon- El himself. If Supergirl arrives late to his rescue from the Cadmus experiments, she might be facing a Cyborg. All of these questions will be answered when Supergirl season 2 "Dark Place" airs November 21, 2016 on CW.
Supergirl season 2 is based on the pages of DC comics which depicts different adventures of Kara Sor- El as she tries to not only establish herself as one of Earth's defenders but more importantly to break herself free from her cousin and fellow hero Superman/ Clark Kent's shadow.

Cadmus on the other hand, is a DC universe fictional genetic engineering project. Its notable creations are DC characters such as The Guardian, Auron and Dubbilex.
