iOS 10.2, tvOS 10.1 Single Sign-On Supported By Dish & 3 Others Only; iOS 10.2 Camera Preserve, 70 New Emojis Revealed

iOS 10.2 and tvOS 10.1 beta users received some great news recently. The much-awaited Single Sign-On feature for the iOS and Apple TV devices have just been activated by Apple to make it available for a number of developers that run the systems. However, the feature is rumored to support only a few cable services like GVTC Communications, Dish, Sling TV and Hotwire.

Based on reports, the fourth-generation Apple TV or Single Sign-On settings can be used by accessing the Settings app and navigating to the accounts. A TV Provider section has been already available with Home Sharing. In addition, the users can sign in to a service on this menu and are expected to have access to all content related to their subscription. Likewise, a TV Provider section is also available in the Settings app on devices that run iOS 10.2 like the iPhone and the iPad, which is found below the portion for signing into social networks.

iOS 10.2 and tviOS 10.1 Single Sign-On feature is created to enable users to sign in once using cable credentials in accessing all live cable content offered through cable subscription, regardless if it is across several apps. Reports indicate that Apple aims to streamline and simplify the TV-watching experience on the Apple TV. But with the limited availability of the feature, the Single Sign-On will only be available to a very few Apple customer. However, experts believe that the tech giant is now working to allow more providers on board,  MacRumors reported.

Meanwhile, the first iOS 10.2 beta has been introduced by Apple recently, that comes with an update with a new feature Camera Preserve. However, most of the improvements and fixes are reported to be under the hood, except for the clown emoji, over a total of 70 new ones. The avocado, owl and fox face are the new ways to communicate with loved ones and friends for the frequent users of the digital messaging platforms.

iOS 10.2 clown emoji is expected to officially roll out in a week or two, including other emojis like the shark, lizard and Martial Arts uniform, Techno Buffalo reported. Watch SSO (TV Provider) in iOS 10.2 beta: hands-on preview
