OnePlus 3T Release Date, News & Update: The Truth Behind Nov. 14 Launch; 2-Variants, Android 7.0 Nougat With Oxygen OS Revealed!

OnePlus 3T is rumored to be launched on Nov. 14. However, the rumor that started in China did not provide any details regarding the upcoming smartphone. Given that, more rumors begin to emerge as well regarding the handset's features and specs.

The new OnePlus 3T is believed to be priced at $479, or about $80 more than the latest OnePlus model. There are speculations that, considering the price increase, the new handset is more likely to come with a faster Snapdragon 821. Meantime, the previous OnePlus 3 model is sporting a Snapdragon 820.

OnePlus 3T smartphone is also rumored to come with a camera feature with a Sony IMX398 sensor inside, but remains in a 16MP resolution. As for the rest of the specs, reports claim that no changes have been made. The upcoming device will still have the similar metal body design, a similar 5.5" 1080p Optic AMOLED screen, 64GB of storage, 6GB of RAM and 3,000mAh battery, along with Dash Charge, among other features, GSMArena reported.

Meanwhile, OnePlus 3T, where T is believed to stand for Turbo, is reportedly an upgraded version of the company's flagship smartphone. The upcoming launch of the handset came as a surprise, given the earlier reports that OnePlus was planning to focus on just one smartphone in a year. There are rumors claiming that the smartphone will be sporting a black color option, while there are no indications of changes in design since the OnePlus 3 design had received good feedback from the users.

OnePlus 3T is also expected to come in two storage models, one with 128GB and the other with 64GB. Some reports also suggest that the handset will run on a newer model of OxygenOS, on top of Android 7.0 Nougat.

OnePlus, on the other hand, is reported to be aiming at investing more in India than in any market elsewhere, due to the growth witnessed by the company recently. According to CEO Pete Lau, India will be the biggest market for the company in 2017, The Tech Portal reported. Watch video about OnePlus 3T Full Review and Date Released
