It has been a while since players of the "Diablo" franchise have been clamoring for "Diablo 3" DLC. It appears that there requests have been finally heard, however, there is one small catch - "Diablo 3" DLC isn't all what they expected it to be.

In the upcoming "Diablo 3" DLC the Priests of Rathma will reportedly be in the spotlight. Trained to preserve the balance between life and death, the Priests of Rathma will visit the Sanctuary to heed their call of help.
For those who think that Necromancer is a familiar character, Blizzard has clarified that they are completely different from Xul of "Heroes Of The Storm" and "Diablo 2." The upcoming Necromancer characters in "Diablo 3" DLC will reportedly be two new characters considered as nephalem heroes.
The necromancer is also very different from the Witch Doctor, so players should not associate it with the latter. Players can choose between a female or male necromancer. Blizzard says that the necromancer characters are still in the stage of early development but managed to show a concept art, which pretty much sums up the overall look of the "Diablo 3" DLC characters.

The Priests of Rathma are also known as necromancers, mainly because they get most of their powers and strength from the dead. The necromancer will reportedly be the newest playable character arriving in "Diablo 3" DLC and will command the power of the undead.
