According to a recent FAQ by Activision, those who purchased the game through different agencies on PC will be affected because it cannot be played together. Players who bought the game through Steam can not play it in Windows 10, and those who purchased the game via Windows Store can not use Steam to launch the game, according to PC World.
Via Windows Central, Microsoft said that the game can be played with other users of Windows 10 on Windows Store. They support cross-play between devices and platforms for every partner who desires to enable it.
