Just a few days ago, news sparked "Pokemon GO" fans who are fond of using third-party trackers that FastPokeMap is now back. Apparently FastPokeMap's come back in "Pokemon GO" is short lived.
'Pokemon GO' Says Goodbye to FastPokeMap
With Niantic going full steam ahead in enforcing new developments with "Pokemon GO." One of these developments is the rollout of the much awaited tracking system that debut in "Pokemon GO's" head quarters in San Francisco, California, which lead to one of the most popular "Pokemon GO" third-party app's early closure.
Here is an excerpt of what whitelist_ip, the developer of FastPokeMap had to say about the sad outcome of the third-party "Pokemon GO" tracker, "I don't know what to say except that a work of 3 months just disappeared and that i'm too disheartened to even say anything." He also thanked the "Pokemon GO" community whom supported FastPoke Map, "Thanks everyone for all the support we've had since the 1st August."
Best Alternative Way To Track in 'Pokemon GO'
This might be a little tedious, however it does work in "Pokemon GO." Whenever you have seen a Pokemon on the "Pokemon GO" sightings bar that you'd like to track, walk in a straight path. Once it disappears, remember the area where you've stopped and mark it as point A, then turn around and start walking the opposite direction.
Continue walking until the Pokemon once again disappears on the "Pokemon GO" sightings bar and now, mark that area as point B. Turn around and walk halfway from point A to point B, and then turn 90 degrees from where you are facing.
Right now, it is either you are walking towards the Pokemon or further away from it. If the Pokemon disappears from the "Pokemon GO" sightings bar, walk the opposite direction, and for sure you are now walking on the right direction to catch it.
Just bare in mind that you'll need to do these steps as fast as possible. For the reason that the Pokemon that you are tracking could flee at any given time. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for more "Pokemon GO" latest new and update.
