Sporting a higher-powered GPU, 4K resolution support, greater energy efficiency and reduced fan volume, Sony's latest line of PS4 consoles, PS4 Pro, is more powerful than its forerunners.
PS4 Pro differs physically as well as its features from all its predecessor including the Xbox One S and Xbox One. When it comes to size, PS4 Pro dimensions are 12.8 inches x 11.6 inches x 2.1 inches, while PS4 Slim dimensions are 11 inches x 10 inches x 1.5 inches. PS4 Pro weighs 7.3 pounds while PS4 Slim weighs 4.6 pounds.
PS4 Pro sports a more powerful GPU than PS4 Slim which allows higher quality visuals. It can also output up to 4K while PS4 Slim can only output up to 1080p. It also includes an optical port and only comes in a 1 TB model while PS4 Slim comes in 500 GB and 1 TB models.
PS4 Pro dimensions are 12.8 inches x 11.6 inches x 2.1 inches compared to PS4's 12.01 inches x10.8 inches x 2.0 inches. PS4 Pro weighs 7.3 pounds compared to PS4's 6.2 pounds.
PS4 Pro has a trim down in fan noise feature, power consumption and heat. It also sports a physical power and eject buttons compared to PS4's touch buttons (some newer PS4 models have physical buttons). PS4 Pro doesn't have the PS4's light bar and has a dedicated panel behind for switching out hard drives.
PS4 Pro's physical differences from Xbox One S are: PS4 Pro dimensions are 12.8 inches x 11.6 inches x 2.1 inches compared to Xbox One S's 11.6 inches x 8.9 inches x 2.5 inches. PS4 Pro weighs 7.3 pounds while Xbox One S weighs 6.4 pounds and PS4 Pro doesn't have a 4K disc drive.
PS4 Pro has two USB ports while Xbox One S has three 3.0 USB ports. PS4 Pro can output both 4K and HDR visuals. Xbox One S can display 4K but only for video and blu-ray (game visuals are upscaled).

PS4 Pro is scheduled to launch in most markets on Nov. 15 for $399/399 Euros/359 GBP, according to GameSpot.
