The original cast and maker of the film "Trainspotting" comes back with a sequel after 20 years. In fact, the first official trailer is released just recently and still shows about drugs but in a modern world.
According to a report in the Rolling Stone, Robert Carlyle who portrays the role of Begbie in "Trainspotting" 2 shares that it has been one of the best scripts written. He further added that the storyline is going to be emotional for some and can make one ponder about the events in one's life.
Years have gone by since the original film has aired but not much has been changed with the theme of the film this time. "Trainspotting" 2 still brings in the original cast from 20 years ago and still of the same director.
The Verge reports that "Trainspotting" 2 lets one choose between life or Twitter or Facebook. The first trailer is out and familiar faces are still on it. The original characters of Renton (Ewan McGregor), Begbie, Sick Boy (Johnny Lee Miller) and Spud (Ewen Bremmer) are all part of the upcoming film.
The plot for "Trainspotting" 2 is still not all revealed yet but it clearly shows of a group of men paving their way to a pornography industry. Begbie is also featured to be a psychopath in this film. The characters in this upcoming film still have the same set of issues to tackle.
In a report from The Guardian, "Trainspotting" 2 is set to remember what had happened in the first film. Renton still has chosen life and this time it is all about social media that he is busy about. His intent is for a pornography industry in the film.
"Trainspotting" 2 also focuses not only on drugs but with technology which is a far growing addiction nowadays. The film explores reality in the modern world of technology. "Trainspotting" 2 airs on January 27, 2017.
