Pocketwatch's IGF-winning heist game, Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine, will not launch on Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday, April 24 as originally planned. However, the PC version is still on track and will be released on Steam on the same date.
"We just discovered that there is an issue which requires that we push back our Xbox Live arcade game release date a little. We've already submitted an update to Microsoft to fix the problem, and as soon as we know that the issue is fixed we'll have a new release date. I know our fans have been waiting a long time for the game, and hopefully they'll have the patience to wait just a little while longer. What's mine will be yours very, very soon!," the developer says in a statement posted on its Facebook page.
Monaco had an exceptional run at the 2010 Game Developers Conference, where it was awarded with Excellence In Design and the Seamus McNally Grand Prize. The co-operative heist game has players working together to pull off elaborate thefts and escape safely with the loot. It offers multiple character classes, each with its own unique skill. Thus, each heist will offer different game play depending on which class of players you choose to bring along.
