MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, News & Update: Apple Drops Intel Iris Pro Tech For 15-inch; Touch Bar Game Changer Says Experts

Apple has reportedly opted for Intel's vanilla HD graphics, as the latest 15-inch MacBook Pro system along with a stand alone graphics processor, instead of a newer Core i7 with Iris Pro. Based on reports, this H-series laptop processor version, which is aimed at a higher and larger-performing laptops, is comparatively weak in terms of on-board graphics.

The processor choice of Apple for the 15-inch MacBook Pro is believed to make the previous speculations official that Intel's future notebook processor Iris Pro was unlikely to be of much use. According to reports, Iris Pro was made by Intel to provide a processor with a comparable integrated graphics to the PC manufacturers, instead of a graphics processor vendor for just a low-end stand alone graphics processor. Meantime, experts believe that getting the dollar content will likely raise the average selling costs of Intel's processors, eventually increasing the company's revenue and gross profit.

Apple has previously used Intel versions of fourth-generation Core processors with the Iris Pro in the 15-inch MacBook Pro computers released between 2013 and 2015. However, the tech giant also reportedly provided the potential customers with an option for the stand-alone graphics. In addition, the Mac manufacturer also used the fifth-generation Core processors with Iris Pro in the 21.5-inch iMac desktop computers released in 2015.

Meanwhile, Apple's Touch Bar is expected to be a game-changing feature, as a number of people are reported to be excited about the revamp made to the tech company's MacBook Pro lineup. In fact, executive Phil Schiller revealed that the Apple online store has received more orders for the new laptop compared to any other pro notebook in the past. This could mean that the company's position is far from being universal, despite some common group of creative professionals and developers reported to be disappointed with the new MacBook Pro.

Apple MacBook Pro issues are expected to end without leaving even a bit of dents on the company's name, given the plan to reduce price in 2017 and the introduction of a new MacBook Pro version with 32GB of RAM, BGR reported. Watch video about New Apple MacBook Pro first look
