Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us" Remastered has been updated recently. The purpose of the update is to support Sony's console, the PlayStation 4 Pro. The recent version 1.07 update also improved the game's display with its High Dynamic Range support that balances the shadows and highlights of the game for stunning visuals.
According to a report from GameSpot, "The Last of Us" Remastered will run in 4K display on PlayStation 4 but it will only be limited to 30FPS. The game can also be playable in 4K display at 60 FPS on PS4 Pro. However, selecting the 60 FPS option will limit the game's resolution to 1080p.
The new Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro will be launched on November 10. The new platform will have a price of $400, but it is totally worth it because it can run "The Last of Us" Remastered and more games smoothly. The PlayStation 4 Pro will also have a 1 TB hard drive but it will not have a 4K Blu-ray player.
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, "The Last of Us" Remastered version 1.07 update also improved the game's stereo audio. Other games of Naughty Dog like the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will also be getting a PlayStation 4 Pro update soon. But, the game company has not yet released any statements on the exact date of the update.
Reports also say that there is a high possibility that Naughty Dog will start working on "The Last of Us 2" after the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" new update and expansion will be released. But, "The Last of Us 2" might not be featuring the leading characters Ellie and Joel since the sequel might be getting a new game storyline.
