2K Sports released two big patches for "WWE 2K17" on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; unfortunately, users of PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are out in the cold. There are a number of issues plaguing the game on older consoles, but the latest Update 1.01 finally works to fix it.
Among the number of fixes "WWE 2K17," Update 1.01 makes to the game are finally letting some uninterruptible moves be interruptible, along with a number of other glitches. It turns out that the game has a lot of strange gameplay bugs that make it play weird, but fans have come to accept them as normal for the series. There were also some fixes made to WWE Universe mode.
Meanwhile, 2K also acknowledges an issue on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One where the referee may ignore a pin attempt after updating the game in "WWE 2K17." It suggests that players clear the cache on their console's memory, which it show you how to do here on their official support site.
The full patch notes, per PlayStation Lifestyle, not only fixes issues with "WWE 2K17" gameplay. There are also a lot of under the hood changes made in order to accommodate the Legends Pack DLC that's about to come soon.
What's also coming next week is the Goldberg Pack DLC, which is different from the Legends Pack, for "WWE 2K17." This particular DLC set is actually the pre-order bonus for the game, containing two Goldberg models -- WCW Goldberg and WWE Goldberg -- and two WCW arenas.
This is clearly a tie-in to WWE's plans for their November pay-per-view event, "Survivor Series," in which Goldberg will be wrestling Brock Lesnar. Actually, Goldberg was brought back to the WWE most likely because of his involvement with "WWE 2K17," not the other way around. The Goldberg Pack DLC will be available for $4.99.
