FIFA 14 is set for an autumn release this year which means that the game will arrive around the same time as new consoles from Sony and possibly Microsoft.
Although the company has revealed a ton of new details about the upcoming FIFA 14, there’s still few details about next generation consoles such as the PS4 and Xbox 720.
However, in a recent press release, EA said: “Additional platforms will be revealed in the months ahead.” This is interesting because even though the game will most likely come to the PS Vita, Wii U and 3DS (as it has been the case for years now), there is also the possibility that the game will arrive for the PS4 and Xbox 720.
If the title follows its usual pattern and arrives in September, it would still mean that the game will most likely be arriving earlier than either of the two next-gen consoles. While Sony has confirmed the PS4 the company says the console will release during the "holiday" season. Microsoft has yet to confirm it is working a next generation console.
