Since "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" was announced on December 5 last year, there have been no official news about the game's sequel. But, with almost nearly a year of speculation and silence, news about "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" broke out after an interview with the Level-5 CEO, Akihiro Hino as the Level-5 president broke all rumors surrounding the anticipated sequel.

 'Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom' New Features

According to iDigital Times, Akihiro Hino confirmed that "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" will add new features in the game's sequel. However, Hino didn't get into the specific details about the new features but Hino assured fans that "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" will not be a simple RPG like the game's prequel.

The news outlet further reports that "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" building system that lets players have the ability to make a kingdom doesn't come as a surprise. The game follows a young boy's journey to become a king. However, the possibility that "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" could have the player control the kingdom itself isn't too bad to be included in the game.

In an exclusive interview on PlayStation, Akihiro Hino explains what their team did to make "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" and how the team's love for the game pushed them to make a sequel. The Level-5 CEO also confirmed that "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" will be nothing compared to the prequel game and will be different than its predecessor.

"Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" will be published under Bandai Namco Entertainment America replacing Studio Ghibli. Meanwhile, no official date has been announced as to when "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" will be released.
