'The Originals' Season 4 News, Spoilers: More Characters From Mystic Falls Find Their Way to New Orleans; Klaus, Caroline to Rekindle Aborted Romance?

The fans of “The Vampire Diaries” need not despair nor cry out for not being able to see their favorite characters again when the series ends. According to EP Julie Plec, she is a thousand percent sure that some of the show’s characters will find their way to “The Originals” Season 4 and beyond.

Although crossovers are not new between “The Originals” and its mother series, this is welcome news indeed for the fans of the two shows. Before, most of the crossovers happened with the interactions between Caroline (Candice King) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

Klaus and Caroline have long decided to end whatever it was that they had in “The Originals”. Klaus went on to find love with Cami (Leah Pipes) but is currently single while Caroline is now with Stefan in TVD. But, considering her ties with the Mikaelsons, her return to New Orleans is a great possibility. Fans are wondering if the writers of both shows will able to pull off an acceptable ending for Caroline’s storyline with Stefan in order to open another with Klaus for the second time around.

This time, more Mystic Falls characters will be showing up in New Orleans revealed Plec in an Entertainment Tonight interview. She added that one of her goals in “The Originals” Season 5 is to find some exciting and organic ways to combine the universe of the two shows. Besides, Plec admitted that there are people in the original series that she wants to continue working with.

In last season’s “The Originals”, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) put Klaus into a self-induced coma after he buried Papa Tunde’s blade into the latter’s heart. Somehow, Freya (Riley Voelkel) found a way to link all the Mikaelsons’ lives to Klaus in order for them not to die of Marcel’s poisonous bite. But, because of this also, they too will die if Klaus ever gives up in his sleep.

The news comes just as the fans of TVD have lost all hopes in ever seeing their favorite characters ever again reports Just Jared. Just how this development will affect the timeline and storylines of “The Originals” remains to be seen. Stay tuned for what happens next when “The Originals” Season 4 premieres in early 2017 on The CW.
