In the next episode of “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3, a petty officer who is just weeks away from finishing Navy Seal training is murdered. The NCIS team headed by Pride (Scott Bakula) investigates the brutal murder and will look into the unorthodox training exercises of the institution.
It turns out that the petty officer’s instructor in the Navy Seal training has a controversial reputation according to the “NCIS: New Orleans” episode’s synopsis by The Futon Critic. This will lead Pride’s team to investigate on the instructor’s background as well.
Meanwhile, Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder) learns that his adopted son Danny (Christopher Meyer) plans to join the Navy. She is oppose to the idea and will ask Pride, being a Navy man himself, for some advice. “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3 spoilers indicate that Agent Meredith Brody’s (Zoe McLellan) replacement in the team will be introduced in episode 6. But, there are contradicting reports that say that the show is still on the lookout for someone to take her place.
In the same episode of “NCIS: New Orleans”, Steven Weber is all set to play the role of Mayor Douglas Hamilton again. In other news, two characters are said to get even closer in Season 3. LaSalle (Lucas Black) and Percy (Shalita Grant) are said to get involved in a possible romance. TV Line reports that the growing closeness between them will go on after the awkward lingering hug the shared in last season’s finale. The viewers will get to witness how the two eventually address their feelings towards each other as the season progresses.
In last week’s “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3 episode, a cartel caused a plane crash to stop a whistleblower from coming to the United States. Pride and his team were initially baffled as to why the plane crashed without warning. It was revealed in their investigation that the manifest of the plane did not include one passenger who also happens to be one of the crash survivors.
Said passenger was supposed to have a meeting with the CIA. When the plane crash happened, several mini drones were sent to find him. After engaging the cartel members into a gunfight, Pride and his team were able to recover the passenger alive. Watch episode 6 of “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3 on Tuesday, November 1, on CBS.
