"Stranger Things" Season 2 is confirmed to return on the Netflix web stream with an encounter of regular and unfamiliar casts. The series creators revealed the promotion of Joe Keery & Noah Schnapp as regular casts, while Sadie Sink will play the new girl "Max".
It was reported by Digitaltrends that "Stranger Things" Season 2 will return to the air waves next year, in 2017. The story is set sometime in 1984 at the fictional city of Hawkins. A encounter with forces, powers & monsters in other dimensions, the sci-fi series will continue to unveil the quivering saga of a bunch of kids.
Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of "Stranger Things" Season 2, revealed in TVLine that the show has finally found the actress to play the character of Max. Sadie Sink (American Odyssey) will be portrayed as strong and assertive 13-year-old "boyish" girl in Episode one titled "MadMax". She will be portrayed differently from all the other girls in the area sporting a skateboard rather than a bike.
An addition to the cast in "Stranger Things" Season 2 is Dacre Montgomery (of Power Rangers). He will play the character of Max's older brother Billy. He will be portrayed as a young, sadistic and volatile playboy of the 1980's sporting a Camaro.
According to Gamenguide, "Stranger Things" Season 2 will have 13 episodes. However, only 8 out of the 13 episodes have already their titles in place.
