Superbot Entertainment Moves On After Split With Sony

Superbot Entertainment, the developer behind the well-received but poor selling "Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale" for the Ps3 and PsVita has "substantially shrunk down" following their split with Sony earlier this year. After the divorce there were some rumors circulating that the studio itself probably couldn't stay afloat. Thankfully that's not true.

The studio, located in Culver City, California hopes to get back on their feet soon. David Yang, their director of operations, has already said that the company is currently planning their next project. The exact details of what they are working on remain unknown. Superbot maintains the split was not acrimonious giving Kotaku a statement confirming the split:

"SuperBot Entertainment can confirm that the relationship with SCEA has ended on good terms. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to work on with Sony on Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, and are extremely proud of the work we have done."

"SuperBot Entertainment will continue working on projects that reflect our passion for games and our commitment to creating award winning titles. We are very excited about beginning the next chapter of our future and invite all of our fans and supporters to follow our journey."
