Rumor says the two main characters and cast of the DC movie Suicide Squad; Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) is focused on the 'Extended Cut'. Many fans are disappointed on the original film and complained that the two, especially the 'Joker' were not featured enough as what they expected. Although not all of the fans complained, the majority pressured the producer to release the extended cut.
Jared Leto, the actor behind the Joker of the Suicide Squad movie said that the director of the film, David Ayer shot more footage than what was used in the original movie. The internet was shocked when it was reported that Warner Bros. will be releasing an Extended Cut of David Ayer's Suicide Squad. which will feature the Joker and Harley Quinn.
Suicide Squad character Harley Quinn is the Joker's accomplice and lover, whom she met while working at the Arkham Asylum as a psychiatrist, where the Joker was one of the patients. After a falling out with the Joker, she goes into a murderous state. In the original film, Harley Quinn, together with the other criminals like 'Death Shot' (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) are recruited to go on a dangerous mission.
Jared Leto's 'The Joker' had a lot of his scenes cut for the theatrical version of Suicide Squad. His character will surely receive more spotlight on the extended cut. Undeniably, some characters are also having less focus on the original film, like Slipknot (Adam Beach) who walks out of an SUV and immediately decks a female guard with a right hook in the movie scene and was immediately killed when he tried to escape during the mission.
Reportedly, the first schedule of the Suicide Squad extended feature release date on HD digital and Blu-ray are on November 15 and December 13 respectively, but it was confirmed that the official release dates are on November 28 and December 5.
