The highly anticipated sequel of the 2013 fighting video game, "Injustice: Gods Among Us," is expected to arrive in 2017. Dubbed as "Injustice 2," the upcoming second installment from game developer NetherRealm Studios is said to provide players additional features and DC characters as well as enhanced customizing tools. According to reports, the new game title is definitely going to give fans better gaming experience as it carries a darker and sinister world.
One of the most interesting features of "Injustice 2" is that it allows players to customize the game title according to their preference. It will give them more control of the game in terms of altering appearance and battle gears that would affect the fight skills of the character. Nonetheless, several fans have expressed their concerns about the added weaponry in the game as it might create unequal grounds for many players.
However, Ed Boon, the Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios, said that the new add-loot-add-gear feature will make "Injustice 2" more intense and exciting than the first installment. According to Boon, fans should not worry about the new system as they can always disable it whenever they want to.
According to NetherRealm Studios, "Injustice 2" has more game features than "Injustice: Gods Among Us," which makes the sequel poses a better storyline. The game developer has also revealed several new characters and is expected to add more as the game's release date comes to a close. The newest DC characters added to "Injustice 2" includes the Amazonian superheroine Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle.
Meanwhile, according to a report by IGN, Boon has also revealed that his team is currently developing the iOs and Android version of the game. The company is also expected to release a PC version of "Injustice 2" right after the launching of its console form.
