The CyanogenMod team has released its latest round of milestone builds which are currently arriving as the M3 builds and are available for select devices.
The third set of 'M snapshot' builds are based on CyanogenMod 10.1, which means Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. These M builds are sort of in between the nightly and the stable builds. These are designed to be more stable than the regular nightly builds; however, they still allow users to keep on top of the latest features and improvements.
Tons of different devices from various manufactures including Samsung, LG, HTC and more are all receiving the treatment. It's expected that many more devices will get updated to M3 within the next 24-48 hours. If your device runs an older version of CM, go to Settings > About phone > CyanogenMod updates > Check for Updates. For beginners, visit the download site and look for your model. Notably, it will be the first M release pre-loaded with Koush's Superuser app.
